Synopsis | When his boat breaks down at sea, a North Korean fisherman drifts into South Korea. Enduring brutal interrogations and witnessing the dark sides of the society contrasting with its ‘developed’ image there, he realizes that economic development does not spell happiness for people. After his struggles to get home, he faces the same harsh investigations as he did in the South. Then a grave sorrow hits him, trapped in the ideology between the two divided countries against his will. |
